2010-2012 Peugeot RCZ

When the Peugeot RCZ broke cover in 2010, it was a bit of a surprise. For Peugeot to put out a car with the visual appeal of an Audi TT, only with tonnes more impact and a lot cheaper was a bit of a koo on Peugeot's part.

For some, a sports car is all about steering feel and chassis balance, but for most, it's about price and looks. That's where the snappy looking RCZ coupe has it covered. While there's not a lot of go for the show, there's no arguing it looks like it's doing 60mph when it's standing steel.

It's not a bad drive either, but for the standard RCZ a 0 to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds, it's no a grade weapon. It is, however, a good long distance cruiser, a friendly daily driver and its 1.6litre turbo four-cylinder engine will return surprisingly good fuel economy.

Families need not apply, while there are rear seats, for practical purposes, it's strictly a two-seater.

If you're in the market for a second hand two door coupe and you want to stand out from the crowd, the RCZ may be worth checking out.
