In the wake of talks between Tesla's Elon Musk and the South Australian Premier, Tesla has identified South Australia as its next Australian target market. A new Pop-Up Store has opened in the Myer Complex ground floor showcasing the much loved EV brand. South Australian support for renewables and better cleaner alternatives to power the state coincide with Tesla's agenda, so we're very happy to see the EV carmaker touching down here.
The supercharging network is still growing between Melbourne and Adelaide and we're hoping the bureaucrats won't road-block progress. Let's hope SA can keep power supply stable enough to charge these things (insert sarcasm font). An Adelaide service centre is on its way soon... Good things.
On display will be the Tesla Model X, Model S and the Powerwall.
