Tech guru site 'endgadet' reports that Germany is seriously working towards zero emissions and is attempting to introduce policies that will see a total ban on the internal combustion engine. If the policies get through, the country that started it all will end it all by 2030.
Developed by German inventor Karl Benz in 1879, the internal combustion engine has profoundly affected humankind. Benz went on to found the automotive giant Mercedes-Benz; the rest as they say, is history.
Efficiency is something the Germans pride themselves on and the internal combustion engine that was designed by them to make our lives more efficient is now considered inefficient!
Trust the Germans to work that out.
