New badass on the block: Equus Bass

New badass on the block: Equus Bass
Great auto custom shops and enthusiasts have been blending the old and new for a while now. Body drops, body swaps, call them what you will - the possibilities seem amazing when you imagine an old car running modern tech. And it's super expensive... but let's not worry about the little things.

The alternatives also being introduced are 're-imagined' vehicles - get ye an old car, get rid of the rough, smooth out the retro, amp up the running gear - but keep it pure to the original, like the reincarnated Gone in 60 seconds 'Eleanor' (pity they didn't recycle Nicholas Cage at the same time... no no, I didn't mean that - we love that guy).

But we're going to talk about something completely different than that... Something which re-invents the blend of classic motoring and new standards. We've entered the age of the bespoke automobile class. Please welcome the Equus Bass, from Equus Automotive... Oh - My - God.

Once you see it, there's no doubt on where it gets its heritage looks - but make no mistake, this bruiser is hand made and has collected 6 years in development and miles of road testing to meet safe and rigorous standards. And it ain't just pretty, you get perks too - keyless access, dual climate control, touch screen infotainment, bluetooth, xenon lights, ABS, cruise control, traction control, ceramic brakes, and the list goes on and on.
